Hey guys, Dan Thomas from Image Doctor and and watch the video above or read the article below to learn a STINKY KITCHEN BIN HACK.

Lemons, limes and oranges can be eaten, juiced, used for cooking and even juggled (see my juggling skills in the video above)

But once you’ve finished using these citrus wonders, don’t throw them out!! Or at least don’t get rid of the skins/peel of your lemons, limes and oranges as they can be put to very good use and solve a very common kitchen problem.

A common problem in the household is stinky bins. Especially the bin in your kitchen.

What you can do is utilize the naturally occurring and very strong scent of lemon, lime and orange skins and peels to combat this common and very embarrassing household problem.

As you are using lemons, limes or oranges or a combination of all these throughout the week you want to hang onto the skins and then place them at the bottom of your unlined, empty kitchen bin.

Once you’ve placed the skins at the bottom of the empty bin you then need to line that bin with a plastic bag or specific bin liner.

By placing the skins at the bottom of the bin, the naturally occurring scent will counteract the  foul smells that can accumulate in the kitchen bin and will also create a pleasant smell to radiate throughout the kitchen and surrounding areas.

This will result in a fresher, more inviting home when you have guests and you won’t be concerned by any uninvited guests dropping in and being met with unpleasant smells lingering in the kitchen as you have a catch up coffee or tea.
