HOUSEHOLD USES FOR VINEGAR PART 2
Welcome back guys So I previously made a video of some of the many uses of white vinegar in the home. As there are so many great uses I have made several videos and today is another list of the wide variety of applications and household uses for vinegar part 2. If you missed the first video of uses I have linked to that video above.
So let’s get started with another set of uses:
If you have weeds growing in the cracks of your driveway or pathways then soak the weeds in an amount of vinegar that will seep into the roots and the vinegar will actually kill off the plant.
If you live in a very cold climate and your car windows are generally frosty each morning, you can combat this issue by soaking the window the night before in a solution of 3/4 ‘s vinegar and ¼ water.
If your dog, cat or any other animal sleeps, scratches, licks or urinates in an area you don’t want them to such as a couch, bed or chair then just spray that area with vinegar as this will deter the animal from being there.
If you have any tools in your garage that are rusting, then just submerge them in undiluted vinegar overnight and this can remove or improve the level of rust.
Fill a bowl with equal parts water and vinegar and microwave for a few minutes. The steam of the vinegar will break down the grease and grime in the microwave and you just need to wipe it over with paper towel.
Spray undiluted vinegar onto your shower grouting that has mould or mildew stains and scrub with a grout brush.
Vinegar is also a great chrome and stainless steel polish, just spray onto the surface and buff with a microfiber cloth.
Do you ever clean your ice cube trays? Let me guess, you answered no. Well you should clean your ice trays regularly and an easy way is to fill up the empty trays with vinegar and let them soak for up to 5 hours, then empty, rinse and refill with water.
I mentioned in the last vinegar uses video that adding vinegar to a cold bath and soaking in it can help sunburn, this is because the vinegar will stop itch and irritation of the skin. Vinegar is also a disinfectant so if you have a mosquito, insect, jellyfish or blue bottle sting then soak a cotton ball in white vinegar and dab it onto the affected area.
Fight dandruff by rinsing your hair with vinegar and warm water after you have shampooed it.
Do you have fruit flies buzzing all through your kitchen, here’s what you can do. Take a bowl or mug and fill it with apple cider vinegar and some smashed up fruit added to it, seal the top with plastic wrap and poke holes in it. The flies will fly in but they won’t be able to fly out.
So that’s it for today’s list of vinegar uses, hopefully you got some good tips out of that and as I mentioned there are so many uses that I will keep posting more of the same videos in the future for you so keep your eye out. I much appreciate you tuning in today and hoped you liked the video. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow at www.improvemant.com for my next daily video and until then, keep learning and improving.
