BEST WAY TO CLEAN & DISINFECT JUICE BLENDER

G’day guys, hope your well. So in the last say 5-10 years, there have been 2 prevalent trends that many of us haven taken on board which is shakes, smoothies and juices such as protein shakes, fruit smoothies and vegetable juices and all these generally require the use of a blender.

One drawback of all these examples is that cleaning the blender can be a bit of a pain in the bum, so today I am going to show you a simple and effective way to quickly clean your blender after you have used it to ensure that you are keeping it germ free.

When your in the process of making your shake, juice or smoothie you want to also boil some water in your kettle. Once you are done blending the ingredients, pour the contents into a glass or container. Once the blender is empty, combine 1 cup of boiling water, 60 mls of white vinegar and the tiniest dash of dishwashing liquid in the empty blender and run for 30-60 seconds .

So why these cleaning ingredients? Boiling water kills bacteria and the simple fact that its so hot will aid in lifting stubborn foods from your blender.

White vinegar is a disinfectant which is not potent like bleach and ammonia. Unlike both these chemicals, white vinegar is a non toxic and biodegradable substance that you will definitely start seeing regularly in my domestic God videos.

And finally dishwashing liquid is the master of lifting stubborn food from surfaces and also providing a fresh scent. So give this a try because you don’t want to cancel out the goodness of your shake, smoothie or juice by allowing germs and bad bacteria to build up inside your blender.

Thanks for tuning in today guys, I will catch you tomorrow with a new video and as always keep learning and improving.
